Why does a Furnace Give Out?
Last week, we talked about how important your unit maintenance is before the cold hits. But why does a furnace give out? As units age, they can lose their ability to properly distribute air, leaving some rooms ice cold and others overly warm. Because a unit’s efficiency is compromised, it runs longer to try and keep up with the warmth you need, which in turn ups your energy bill. This leaves you uncomfortable in both the weather and the wallet. Still not sure if you should invest in our maintenance agreement? Keep in mind that poor indoor air quality can affect your family’s health. Allergies can become worse and respiratory issues can be persistent. Keep your family and furnace healthy and give us a call today!
